This year’s Lucille Speakman Master Teacher award recipient is part of the MCOM faculty! Students have opportunities for internships and have placed in television affiliates in Dallas and Chicago. The emphasis in Media Communication is broad and widely applicable, including focus on production and editing skills, media literacy, journalism, and new media and social media. The UAFS Media Comm major works to teach students the many different aspects of electronic media. From shooting Reporter Packages to Public Service Announcements, and LIVE Broadcasts this organization is sure to reach everyone in the Media Comm department and hook members up with the latest and greatest technology and skills necessary to advance their careers in electronic media.
