This incredible little guy was with us for a short time before being returned to his owner. Unfortunately, due to health concerns, his owner can no longer care for him, and now Shortie needs a loving forever home.

Shortie is the best boy! At just 3 years old and 21 lbs, he is housebroken, fully vetted, and adores kids of all sizes, other dogs, and even cats! He walks like a true gentleman on a leash, loves to run and play, and is always ready for a snuggle with his person. You could say he is basically perfect!

From Paws of Love Animal Rescue

Today, Judy took a significant step towards recovery with her final X-rays and recheck for her broken leg. We're overjoyed to see her healing perfectly!!! However, we're still facing outstanding medical debt of almost $2000 that we had to borrow when donations fell short. We urgently need to make a $440 payment on the original loan and a $198 payment today to South County Veterinary Hospital for her last visit. Your donation can be the lifeline we need to overcome this challenge. If you can contribute, we'll be forever grateful. Many of you got to meet Peaches at the shop. She found an adopter and we thought she finally got her happily ever after but that did not happen. Her adopters feel they are unable to offer her the life she needs. What does she need?

A fenced yard. She is only 2. She needs a place to run and play.

A home with no other pets. She loves being the only dog.

A home with no children under 10. Peaches loves kids and is good with them but she is just a kid herself. She gets excited when she meets new friends and doesn't want to knock any little ones over.

Someone who is as sassy as she is. Peaches is fun and carefree because no one ever showed her how to walk in a leash. She loves being outside but wants to be the leader when she walks. She needs someone to remind her of who is boss.

Love. She needs someone who understands that love is forever and who is willing to show her she will never have to find a new home again.

Peaches adopter needs her to be moved immediately. She needs either a foster or an adopter. Please share your love and your home and help us get her home for Thanksgiving. She loves to sit by you. Plushies are her favorite toys. She is so smart and wants to learn. We are all rooting for her. 💜

Peaches is one of the sweetest dogs you will meet! She like to be vocal when meeting new people! She is very playful but can also chill and snuggle on the couch. She loves playing with toys and she LOVES car rides! When playing and waiting for you to throw her toy, she does the cutest little tippy taps with her front feet! She can be a little mouthy but is easily redirected with toys. She is energetic and needs an active family, and would do well withnolder teenage kids.

Peaches does need to be the only animal in the home.

She is spayed, current on all vaccines and preventions and HW-! At a year and 3mths, this girl is still young, and deserves to have an amazing life!

Yard sale at 5020 N. O St goes through 5pm today. We are going through the first half of one of 2 storage units to finish clearing inventory. Today was mostly a bust but we will open tomorrow until 3 (later if no rain). There is also a table full of items that Paws of Love set up to raise money for the vet bills. If you have time, come on by. We will try to set up again this week or weekend. It was fun to get out and see people!

Hey y'all! This is Sherry. I opened the shop on December 19, 2019. I pieced it all together with a very small inheritance donated to me by my brother-in-law and a lot of of help from my first consignor, my Dad.

I survived the ups and downs of Covid and got some traction. I was doing well enough to expand. My daughter came aboard and we battled (sometimes literally) through. A time came for her to move on and I had help from others along the way. My cousin Blake was a lifesaver until he graduated and moved on. Captain became my new hero and then left to finish college. I am grateful to all of them.

I am also grateful that people came out and brought merchandise and trusted me to help them sell it. I met so many wonderful people and made some great friends along the way.

This past year had been devastating. I had several fairly serious health issues stemming from Lupus SLE. I worked as hard as I could but every time I got better, I got sick again. This last round was with pneumonia.

I fell behind on my rent and the landlord was gracious. I believed I would be caught up by now but I can't make money when I don't work. Multiple hospitals visits and lab work depleted my savings. I have been asked to vacate. I will have to shut down my shop.

This is business and I have been reminded of that. My personal issues should not affect the job I have to do. To that extent, I have always tried to be fair, to be honest and to go as far as I could to do the very best job I could. None of the above are excuses. I know a lot of people have consigned and some are owed money. I know I have not met expectations.

This is all I can do.
I will be at the shop Saturday 10-5, Sunday 12-5, Monday 10-5 and Tuesday 10-5. Any consignor with merchandise that has not been expired and donated may come to pick it up. I will be calling everyone as we separate and organize it for pickup. We will sell everything we can at a fair price until Tuesday at 5. I will not be able to issue payouts until Monday morning. At that time, I will contact those I have money ready for. I will do another round Tuesday. I will take all of my own things and have a yard sale that weekend so I can pay out again Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I will be forced to sell my trailer and that will help. I am looking for employment and will stay on this page updating until my debts are settled.

Please be patient. I will make sure everyone is paid. If your items have been there more than 70 days before Oct 10, they were probably donated. We were not planning to close and were working to clean up. I have had a couple of consignors who are very angry with me. I know there will be more. I understand and I am so sorry.

Thank you for allowing me to work for and with all of you. It has truly been wonderful to feel like a part of this community. I have no clue what comes next. This was unexpected but a path will present itself.
