We have been trying to find a foster for GinGin for weeks. A rescue pulled her babies and left her there to die. It is such a cruel act. Can anyone foster this sweet girl. We have met her and she is a really good dog.

Our sweet hospice girl Trixie went into her foster today. Unfortunately she is not settling in well. She is feeling very overwhelmed and nervous around other dogs. With that being said, she would do best in a dog free foster home.
With her not only having cancer, but an enlarged heart and severe case of heartworms, she would do best in a quiet calm environment where she can spend her days and nights being pampered and loved!
We will supply everything you need for her, including all her medications.

Who needs a snugglebug?

This is Griffin and he is looking for a quieter foster home. He looks big and tough but he is just big and sweet. He loves cuddling and while we were at the vet, he settled into me like a giant plushy.

Griffin has had all of his vaccinations but has a low hw+. Paws of Love Animal Rescue AR will cover his heartworm treatment . He is neutered and a year and a half old.

Griffin is dog accepting for the most part. He has one foster brother he does not like but mostly ignores most of his foster siblings. The truth is he really adores people.

If you are a single woman wanting to look like you have a body guard, he may just be perfect for you. If you want a couch potato to share your tv time, he may just be perfect for you. If you want a lovable best friend, Griffin is perfect for you.

"Please share and help me get Spock back home!!! A collie mix who's approximately a year old.
For those who are following his story, I finally caught Spock! He's okay for the most part, just really skinny. I'm honestly so glad he managed to make it through the snow storm.
He does have some pigmentation loss in both eyes, but besides that, absolutely good. Very friendly but skittish of new people.
Found in Poteau, OK around S. Witte St.

Im sure you've heard the buzz words,

"Let them sniff"

"Sniffari walk"

"Decompression walk"

"Nature walk"

What we are all saying is your dog deserves sniffing opportunities and A LOT of them!

So what better way to honor your dog than to change your mind set from taking your dog for a walk to taking your dog for a sniff!

Sniffing is a natural behavior for dogs and the benefits include but are not limited to

🐾 Mental stimulation
Sniffing is a great way to mentally enrich your dog. It requires them to use their brains to process the different smells they encounter.

🐾 Stress reduction
Sniffing can help reduce stress in dogs by releasing endorphins, which have mood-boosting effects.

🐾 Calming
Sniffing can help calm your dog by activating the reward center of their brain. This can help reduce their heart rate and calm their nervous system.

🐾 Dopamine release
Sniffing releases dopamine, a mood-boosting chemical in their brain.

🐾Information gathering
Sniffing provides important information about the environment, other dogs, and humans.

🐾Tire them out
Sniffing can be as exhausting and beneficial as a long walk. Some say that 15 to 20 minutes of sniffing is equivalent to around an hour's walk.
