Picture it, Dreamtime creates it. Dreamtime Entertainment provides solutions and branding creation for our clients. We develop creative and produce broadcast commercials, features, corporate videos, web videos, and

long-form, original programming for national, international, and streaming over-the-top video releases. Projects have ranged from television series and prime-time specials to feature films, national commercials, and corporate marketing. Content has ranged from reality and non-fiction to fictional drama. We have also focused on story-driven healthcare-related programming. Dreamtime’s complete programs and package inserts have aired on The History Channel, HBO, HBO Family, PBS, The Travel Channel, NBC, A& E, Fox, ESPN, Nickelodeon, The Learning Channel, The Golf Channel, and HGTV. Dreamtime prides itself in continually delivering high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective television to its regional and national clients, network, and cable partners. We wanted to share some of the histories of Dreamtime Entertainment and what makes us one of Florida's and the USA's premiere production companies. In the early days as Long John Productions, we were one of the first independent production companies in the united states to offer full machine-controlled AB roll editing. Next came Trilogy Media Group, Captiva Films, and Bush Entertainment in the 1990s with the introduction of computer non-linear editing. John directed the feature film Captiva with Ernest Borgnine in 1994. His first theatrically released 35mm feature film. With the formation of Dreamtime Entertainment, we produced, wrote, and edited numerous national documentary films. These included the Cable Ace nominated Wildlife Encounters on Travel Channel, the series Freeze Frame, also on Travel Channel and Waters Edge The Bahamas. We didn't simply come in and shoot, we researched, wrote, produced, filmed, and did post-production, script to screen on national cable TV. Aside from many PBS specials and many Emmy Awards, we began producing new programs for History Channel, including Fireboats of 911 and History Undercover's The N**i Plan to Bomb NYC, featuring new 3D computer animation bringing the story to life. Today we continue producing national content you may have seen on PBS with musical specials and documentaries. Today we produce nationally acclaimed living history documentary films with the WWII Foundation and American Public Television, seen by millions of viewers around the globe. For over 30 years Dreamtime has been producing artistic, imaginative, and compelling stories through the latest technologies. Not many teams or small companies, especially in our business, have that kind of staying power. Rest assured, if you choose Dreamtime Entertainment, you are choosing a team of filmmakers that can draw on that wealth of experience, knowledge, and a lifetime of creativity. Thanks to all of you who have supported us over the years and to the new clients that put their trust in our hands to convey their message in new and exciting ways! Clients / Credits

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

May 18th, 2024 – Fort Myers, FL

Local Filmmakers to Premiere World War-Themed Documentary "A Final Landing on Iwo Jima" at Fort Myers Film Festival

FORT MYERS, FL: On May 25th at 10:45 am, local filmmakers will debut their highly anticipated WWII-themed documentary, "A Final Landing on Iwo Jima," at the Fort Myers Film Festival. The premiere will take place at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center.

The focus of this one-hour documentary is the remarkable modern-day return to Iwo Jima by a 100-year-old Marine veteran who was wounded during the intense fighting on the island in 1945. Additionally, the film follows the journey of the son of another Marine, as he endeavors to unravel the mysteries of his father's World War II experiences. Despite his father's silence about the brutal combat he witnessed on Iwo Jima, the son is determined to gain insight into this pivotal chapter of his family history.

Written and directed by Tim Gray, president of the WWII Foundation and former WINK-TV sports director, "A Final Landing on Iwo Jima" boasts a stellar production team. Producer and editor Dave C Beaty, alongside cinematographer John Paluzzi, both former WINK news alums, bring their expertise to the project. The film is narrated by renowned CBS sports commentator Jim Nantz.

In March of 2023, the documentary crew embarked on an extraordinary journey to the remote Japanese island of Iwo Jima, now known as Iwo To, capturing poignant moments on the famous black sand beaches. Their travels spanned over 8,000 miles from the United States to the remote island in the West Pacific.

SW Florida is recognized as one of the state's many veteran-friendly communities and the state is home to over 1 million of our nation's veterans. The WWII Foundation, under the leadership of Tim Gray, has produced over 30 films chronicling the heroic deeds of our nation's greatest generation, preserving their legacy for future generations. Gray, and Beaty are both recipients of multiple Regional Emmy Awards for documentary films, and the World War II Foundation and Tim Gray Media have been honored with American Public Television's esteemed National Programming Excellence Award.
