So pumped this is coming out. I've only been singing it to myself for the past 2 months

Here it is!! 🥹 My next single “Hard to Love” (feat. Jay Hoff) will be out on all streaming platforms on at midnight on Friday, August 9 🧡

Much like myself, “Hard to Love” has been on a tumultuous journey. Initially written in April of 2023 and titled “Dark”, “Hard to Love” has followed me through some of the darkest periods of my life. And over the last year, much like myself, “Hard to Love” evolved in ways I couldn’t have imagined. And on August 9, it is yours 🧡

A huge thank you to fellow singer-songwriter and recording artist Jay Hoff for singing on my very first vocal collaboration. He has music of his own out already, and if you like my music, you’ll probably like his.

An extra special thank you to Ginger Cat Sounds for playing on, mixing, mastering, and co-producing this track with me and just being an incredible human (and for putting up with my endless yapping in the studio) 🧡

I haven’t always been the kindest person. I’ve been bitter, jealous, and resentful - often towards people who never deserved it. “Could’ve Been Me” details the difficult journey of introspection, growth and developing perspective that results in compassion and empathy rather than resentment because of my insecurities and feelings of inadequacy. “Could’ve Been Me” is about not giving in to society’s expectation for women to compete against each other, but rather to support each other when faced with mistreatment.

A HUGE thank you to Ginger Cat Sounds for playing on, producing, mixing and mastering this song and for putting up with me scrapping the song (what was it, 3 times?) Thank you to my good friend Braydon Curry for photographing the cover art for BOTH of the singles on this upcoming EP. And last but not least, thank you to anyone who has supported me on this journey, whether you’ve been here since the beginning or since yesterday. Thank you 💜
