Just a little mid-week encouragement for you!

As I was here working, I heard that little small voice that said “Just believe.”

Just believe that no matter what you are faced with today, “if” is already worked out. All you have to do is BELIEVE.

Remember what Jesus said in Mark 9:23, “Jesus said to him, What do you mean “if”? If you are able to believe, ALL things are possible to the believer.” (Mark 9:23)

Do you create a vision board every year?

What is a vision board, you ask?

A vision board is a collection of images and words that inspire and motivate you to reach your goals. They represent the changes you'd like to see in your life. Maybe you want to eat healthier meals, get back to the gym or just spend more quality time with family and friends. A vision board is an easy (and fun) way to visualize your goals and keep them at the forefront of your mind.

Here’s my word for 2025!

THRIVE

Thrive means to grow vigorously : flourish, to prosper and to progress toward or realize a goal despite or because of circumstances.

I don’t know about you…but I know for myself, 2024 was a hard year for me. To be transparent, I think I did total opposite of this definition. I found myself not going for anything. It was as if I was stuck. I had all these dreams and goals for 2024 but lacked the motivation to go for it! Now don’t get me wrong, I did accomplish other things - little renovation here and there on our home but my dreams of growing JaeCo Designs lack luster to say the least. I would get online and watch all the content creators and think “Oh, I would love to get back at it.”, only to find myself sitting… going nowhere.

I hope I’m not the only one who has been there. 😭

Thats why I’m so excited for my word this year! I choose to grow vigorously, to prosper in all areas of life, and to realize my goals and progress toward them despite any circumstances! 🙌🏻😆❤️

So friends…when do you take down your Christmas decorations?

We take ours down typically the day after New Years or that following weekend. It’s always bitter sweet for me. I enjoy the soft lights that glisten from the trees and the fresh greenery with the smell of pine.

I totally forgot to take pictures of the table scape of our Christmas Eve dinner so I had to recreate it.

So…without further ado…here is our 2024 table scape.

The sleigh is handmade. The pattern is from my mom’s old sleigh that we replicated in honor of her. Painted with Waverley chalk paint in the color Plaster with Waverley’s Toffee Stain as the undercoat that is peaking through. The greenery is cedar pine that we foraged for. Then I added these cute little twinkle lights for that special glow.

What’s your word for 2025?

Every year I set aside time to pray specifically for a word that will be my anthem for the whole year. A word that I can put into motion and make me better than the year before. A word that I can stand on in those hard times when I want to quit or when I question what I the world am I doing. Can you relate?

One of my favorite Christmas desserts is a white pretzel bark that we have been making ever since I can remember. It is a sweet and salty little treat that is always a crowd pleaser!
