Well I had an amazing Taco Tuesday in my neighborhood at Jalisco Restaurant to say the least after arriving back home from NY. These chicken enchiladas and beef taco with a spicy Marg were perfect! Authentic spots are the best. lol 👌🏾

An accurate depiction of me living my life…because you can’t be a traveler by nature and not enjoy your life. 😉

🌳 Took a 2 mile hike to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park right on Fort Lauderdale Beach! Was beautiful to take these nature trails, relax and get a small workout in nature. Park costs $6 for parking, but it’s worth it for the beautiful views! Definitely worth checking out!

☕️I also made a little stop to The Alchemist in Wilton Manors, one of my top two fav neighborhoods in Fort Lauderdale. Such a delightful cafe shop I’ve been going to for years. Try the Very Berry Herbal Mate tea. It’s so yummy!

🌿 Get out, take a break and enjoy nature sometimes because it can really boost your mental & physical health.

It’s my 37th Birthday today and I’ve been at the highest point in Albuquerque, New Mexico enjoying every moment of my trip! I took the tram with one of my best friends and It was quite the experience through the mountains! I couldn’t be happier to knock off another state off my 50 state bucketlist I’ve been on! I have so much content to share with you all soon, but I wanted to enjoy the very moment. Cheers to state 36! 🥳♐️🌎🚋 Now where to next ? Lol

Last year, I packed my Canon camera & took a solo trip to Puerto Rico for some peace after ending an ongoing on and off again cycle of stress, anxiety & weight for nine years. I never felt more of a release after that trip!

I got my light back, (though it was never truly dimmed), but it was invigorating lighting the fire again that I already have. 🔥

I ate such great food, met amazing new friends, danced the night away, took some great canon shots and just relaxed. I was all smiles that entire trip!

I see more and more women on solo trips where I work these days and I love to see it! I encourage you all to get out there in this big world and see what it has to offer. There’s so much you will learn not only while traveling, but about yourself.

♐️My name is Amber aka “Amber Sandiego”. I’m a 36 year old, trailblazing, Sagittarius from New York who loves exploring the unfamiliar! Currently residing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, I’ve been in Florida nine years now! (Amazing how time flies!)

🫶🏾Besides traveling the world, I enjoy astrology, fine arts (singing, dancing, street art, broadway), playing sports, home decor, fashion, being an aunt to seven nieces & nephews, The Pittsburgh Steelers and cooking cultural dishes with a glass of wine!

🌏My love for travel began as a child because I was obsessed with Geography. I'd constantly study maps (countries, states & capitals) and was so fascinated to know there was a bigger world out there. Not to mention, I wanted to be on the 90s PBS Kids tv show, "Carmen Sandiego"growing up and my peeps can never locate me, hence fitting to my name. I've studied spanish since first grade so embracing new cultures was just embedded in my blood and brain. Si, yo entiendo español mucho, pero cuando hablando tengo miedo a veces. Yo no sé por qué. 😂

🦎I guess you can say moving around is something I can easily adapt to and why I can literally be a chameleon in any situation. I’m that person that makes friends everywhere she goes!

💻I focus on solo female travel (yes I’m pretty fearless), cultural foodie vibes and hidden gems. I want to show you were people may not always necessarily think to go, but are still vibrant spots! I LOVE connecting with other travelers as I’m such a natural extrovert.
