I saw this quote the other day and it seemed like they were wearing it as a badge of honor. As if punishing yourself with hard work is proving a point to anyone. Hard work can definitely be an asset when you are motivated to elevate your life. I have found that working smarter, not harder is part of a healthy mindset that can take you places. If I am going to work hard it will be for the rewards that create more freedom and opportunity. Not for the sake of being a slave to my own ego and an image that doesn’t serve the greater good of my health, wealth and ability to give to those around me. You can learn high paying skills that will cut your work time to a fraction of 40 hours and make as much or more than you can working for a boss.
