A sound snip from BeatHume using the Akai MPC One and the Akai MPD218. What’s missing is further integration of samplers like Native Instruments Kontakt and Euro Rack modular synths, all coming together at Hartford Studios Producer Desk in Studio A. Imagine anything and then create it.

New for Hartford Studio A is the Producer Desk, a host of audio production hardware and software like AKAI MPC One +, Euro Synth modules, extensive sample library from the industry top creators like Native Instruments, Impact Soundworks and many more content providers, electric keyboards, acoustic and electric instruments all interconnected to the main studio hub. And you can bring your own technology to add to your mix.
Hartford Studios has two separate studios, Studio A the big label quality room and Studio B the little brother fully equipped each with their own stand out features, plus the Hartford Studios Live Room, an acoustically designed room that provides the best ambiance to record your music. Analog, digital and hybrid recording options. Both rooms have access to all the industry tools both hardware and software for music production and mastering.

UPDATE 12-11: During the last section of installation, the epoxy resin flooring application did not cure. To our disbelief and after 2 months, all of the uncured epoxy has been removed and we are the final stage of the flooring installation.
These types of events are disappointing, but we are excited to finish the studio renovation and expansion and make Hartford Studios the premier recording and technology facility in the metro.

Progress resumes on Studio A after a short detour to build and open Studio B. This room is modeled after Eastwood Studio Three. This facility will also be the home of Mystiche Records and features an 80 channel console. custom recording console loaded with electronic and digital audio processing tools. Opening is scheduled for end of October!

Mystiche Records is currently the parent company of the following (except Disney) brands that are each related in some way to each other but have their own unique opportunities.
The Disney Campaign-Hulu Manager is really the most ground breaking, that will provide Mystiche Records artists with access to television advertising, something typically out of reach for recording artists, and also smaller businesses who can’t complete in the larger high dollar television markets. More to follow.

Studio B, the little brother suite of Studio A is in the final verification stages and will be open August 30th for the Labor Day weekend. This suite is a kick and packed with all analog gear including the Tascam MSR16 tape recorder, a 24 channel console with 8 channel busses and 6 aux sends/returns to allow for total analog mixdown to a Neve based optical 3 band compressor to DAT or Tape. The Hartford Live Room is available to everyone and during the grand opening, clients get free mastering on the Hartford Studios custom analog mastering rack which delivers broadcast level masters.
Studio A planned opening is early October and will feature 80 channel console with analog recording and outboard processors. More information will be coming soon to fully describe all upcoming offers from Hartford Studios and Mystiche Records.

Hartford Studios new addition, Studio B is packed with 100% analog gear (with a twist of computer integration) …16 track tape machine, 24 8 bus analog console, analog preamps, and access to an analog audio mastering console. In addition, the Hartford Studios Live Room-raved by major label recording artists. Studio A, the big brother room is nearing completion features an 80 channel console and the same analog features as Studio B with a twist of computer integration.

Studio B, a new feature for the Hartford Studio overhaul and expansion, will feature a 24 channel 8 bus analog mixer and Tascam 16 track 1/2” Tape recorder. Designed to create demos, preproduction tracks and full productions, this room can work in conjunction with Studio A, the big room with 85 channel console (digital and tape recording) and custom built recording console.
Both rooms will have access to the Hartford Studio Live Room (a true acoustically tuned room) and the studio analog mastering rack. Lots of analog…awesome sounds.
Reopening is scheduled for mid- summer this year.

The Hartford Studios expansion and renovation currently underway includes the installation of white maple hardwood flooring throughout the entire facility including a new control room shown here, and the remodeled lobby which will include Studio B. The flooring is manufactured by Connor Sports Flooring, who provide basketball flooring for NCAA and NBA arenas. The live room, (other side of gray wall ) will continue to use fir tongue and groove due to its acoustical properties.
The renovation includes an 84 channel analog mixing console, custom tube recording and mastering consoles. analog reel to reel multitrack deck as well as digital recording. The completed facility represents a hybrid of multiple mediums to meet current technological demands and the newly created Mystiche Records is expected to re-open mid-summer of 2024.
