The Community of Thompson, Iowa is busy with Gun Bank Auction, on Sat. February 1. Gun Bank, a local business is owned and operated by Gary Larson of Thompson. The storefront has closed its doors, but Larson will continue to do private sales. The auction will be ongoing throughout the day. Matt Maring Auction Co. out of Minnesota, said that all ready there has been 500 in attendance at the Round up Room of the Branding Iron where it was held, and according to the Auctioning company, there are about 1,000 online people participating, also.
