🚨We have damaged fiber optic due to a fire on Dixon Valley Road in Pleasant Mount. Our outside plant crews will be working all day today to get it repaired. The following roads will be affected:

White Tail Ln
Turner Court
Pleasant Way
Dixon Valley Rd
Turner Rd
Brighton Corners

Wind, rain and heavy wet snow have caused outages for some of our customers. Strong winds are expected to continue along with additional snow in some areas. These conditions are making travel difficult and may cause additional power outages.

Remember, if you encounter a downed wire, assume it’s energized and stay away.

We have hundreds of personnel responding to the storm and are working around the clock to restore power as safely and quickly as possible.

Due to the weather there are issues with facility due to power outages or the lines physically being down. Once power is restored we can then assess the damage and make repairs as needed.

Our President & CEO, Steven Tourje, recently presented local schools and organizations with grants to support programs for children. Grants were provided through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program and the Jessie Osgood Tourje Memorial Fund. Almost $70,000 in grant funding was distributed.

The Jessie Osgood Tourje Memorial Fund was established to support programs in Susquehanna County School Districts. This year, the funds will pay for programs such as behavioral health, dual enrollment, afterschool and communications programs.
The EITC program funds delivered this fall support programs such as PA Envirothon, Technology & the Arts, Afterschool & Competition Programs, STEAM Camp, and Entrepreneurship Academy.

Pictured below is Mr. Tourje presenting grants to Blue Ridge School District, Forest City Regional School District, Mountain View School District, Susquehanna Community School District, Carbondale Technology Transfer Center, Greater Carbondale YMCA and Susquehanna County Interfaith.
