To our loyal customers:

Yesterday, February 10th around 1:30PM we experienced damage to our Fiber facilities near Harford and Clifford. This Fiber cut caused a widespread outage in these areas affecting many customers.

We understand the impact it had on you and would like to thank each of you for your patience as we determined the cause and repaired the problem. A big shout out to our crews for their time and response in repair.

NEP strives to continue to provide great service, and we would like to extend our gratitude for your continued support.

The internet outage has been repaired. If you are still experiencing an issue, please reboot your internet equipment. If the issue still persists, please call us at 866-785-3131 so that we can further investigate.

🚨Update: There is a separate issue than previously thought causing an internet outage to a good majority of our customers. Our network team is still working to resolve the issue at this time.

🚨We have damaged fiber optic due to a fire on Dixon Valley Road in Pleasant Mount. Our outside plant crews will be working all day today to get it repaired. The following roads will be affected:

Turner Court
Pleasant Way
Dixon Valley Rd
Turner Rd
Brighton Corners

Wind, rain and heavy wet snow have caused outages for some of our customers. Strong winds are expected to continue along with additional snow in some areas. These conditions are making travel difficult and may cause additional power outages.

Remember, if you encounter a downed wire, assume it’s energized and stay away.

We have hundreds of personnel responding to the storm and are working around the clock to restore power as safely and quickly as possible.
