The family of a local marine injured in Kabul is getting some much needed help today. Tyler Andrews was injured in an attack on the airport in Kabul, Afghanistan earlier this week and Danny O'Neel with Warfighter Overwatch, a veteran himself, put the wheels in motion when he heard about the injuries to a fellow marine from Folsom. He reached out to several service clubs and non-profits in the area and was able to get the help of Friends of Folsom and the Folsom Fraternal Order of Eagles #929 who enlisted the help of community volunteers to tie yellow ribbons on all the trees between Sutter Street and Target to raise awareness and raise funds to help the Andrews family with small tasks like mowing their lawn, taking care of the family pet and any other tasks that will help the family focus on caring for their son.

If you'd like to donate to the family, you can do so through the Warfighter Overwatch VenMo app by searching: 100% of all the money collected will go to the Andrews family.
