⬆️❄️❄️❄️A once in a life-time winter storm along the central Gulf coast on January 21st, 2025, converted the warm, deep, tropical south into a winter wonderland that smashed previous records of 2-Day All-Time Snowfall. The previous 2-Day records for Mobile and Pensacola came from the February Snow Storm of 1895

This storm's record 2-Day snows, which stood for nearly 130 years, took a second seat at the table ending Wednesday January 22nd, 2025 when Mobile Regional saw a new record 2-Day snowfall standing tall with a remarkable 7.5 inches of snow being measured. The previous 2-Day record snow total for Mobile was 6.0 inches occurring way, way back on February 14th and 15th 1895.

Pensacola, FL smashed the previous the 2-Day All-Time Snowfall record when an astounding 8.9 inches of snow was measured, ending January 22, 2025. The previous 2-Day record for Pensacola was 3.0 inches of snow, set back on the February 14th and 15th Storm of 1895. Truly incredible and a sight to see along the Gulf coast.
