GREAT JOB: Baldwin County Public Schoolsโ€™ are celebrating their achievement on the Spring 2024 performance on the English Language Arts portion of the Alabama Comprehensive Assessment Program (ACAP).

Baldwin County Public Schools were the highest-performing county system in the State of Alabama! The district data shows increased proficiency in English Language Arts, Math, and Science as compared to the Spring 2023 scores. Students worked hard to showcase their learning and the data shows it!

Two schools have an additional cause to celebrate. 100% of Elsanor Elementary School and Rosinton Elementary third graders passed the ACAP Reading subtest in the Spring of 2024. Schools are already working hard to surpass last yearโ€™s success and make 2024-2025 the best school year ever!

UPDATE: Thanks to the conscious effort of our willing customers to conserve water, our tanks have returned to normal levels. That said, we ask that each household and business keep water conservation in mind as this heat wave persists. Small changes, like watering outside of peak hours or only running full loads of laundry or dishes, make a real difference. For more information about Riviera's infrastructure upgrades, visit the link in our comments.

Riviera Water Customers: Yesterday, we experienced abnormally low levels in our tanks due to high temps, lack of rain, and heavy irrigation. This prompted a conservation notice to be sent out via RU ALERT last night. Right now, we are still asking our customers to work with us in monitoring usage and avoiding unnecessary consumption during the peak hours of 5 a.m. - 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.

We are grateful for everyone's cooperation, as your immediate effort to take action made a noticeable difference. If you are not receiving RU ALERTS, please enroll by texting "JOIN" to 251-943-4999. We will update this post when we know more. Thank you!
