As we meditate on the moment when Jesus was laid in the tomb, let us find comfort in the fact that his death brings us liberation. Just as he conquered death, may all our problems, shame, sorrow, and disappointments die with him in that tomb. Let us release all our burdens and fears, knowing that it is finished – our sins have been forgiven and our struggles have been put to rest. May we rise with renewed hope and faith, rejoicing in the victory of Christ and living in the freedom he has won for us. Amen
