🌿 Sharing your family’s private and difficult health journey in a book isn’t the easiest thing to do… but I knew our story could help others. When I receive messages like this one, it reaffirms that I made the right choice.

We all have choices in life. I could have stayed stuck in a “why my family?” pity party, but instead, I chose to share—hoping this book reaches just one person who has suddenly been thrust into the role of caregiver, someone navigating their own crisis with a loved one, or even someone who can take steps to prevent a stroke.

Yesterday, my teammate Karyl Thomas shared a story that touched our hearts. She was working with a client living in assisted living, a sweet woman whose health was declining. Getting out was difficult—she was in a wheelchair, and her daughter could no longer take her places. But she had one simple wish: to drive by her home one more time. 🏡💛

Karyl immediately thought of MedGo Transportation Services, a company that provides white-glove, non-emergency medical transport with compassionate care. She connected the daughter with MedGo, and they made it happen.
