So, I'm sitting here this morning feeling some kind of way about something, and it dawned on me; 14 years ago today I officially launched Eugeradio (04/14/2010). This endeavor has produced a lot of headaches, as any project does. However, by the grace of God it has brought me 100 time more happiness in comparison to the headaches. I'm humbled to be in a position, independently, to help launch, relaunch and sustain a many music careers, and to make history by becoming the first, and presently, only internet radio outlet monitored by Mediabase, which was no easy feat. As there are so many of you to thank individually, and you know who you are, please make note that I appreciate each and every one of you for your encouragement and belief in my talents which has inspire me to keep moving full steam ahead. And I do believe the Best is Yet to Come!!!

Despite the many challenges life and growth can present, I encourage you to keep pushing forward. As we prepare to close out this crazy year of 2023, I can honestly say that this has been a year of many Blessings; like this acknowledgement regarding Eugeradio from Urban Influencer; Thanks Marvyn Mack James Woobear Lewis and my ever growing list of colleagues within the music and radio industry, not to mention the many listeners from around the world; I sincerely appreciate it. If this is any indication, 2024 is about to be off the chain!!!

At 9:30am, exactly 15 years ago today I got called into the GM's office and was told that I was being let go from my position as Program Director/Announcer due to the "then" current economic crisis; which was total nonsense, as I was aware of all the players that were instrumental in what was going on, and what their motivations were...Believe it or not, my only short term concern was the financial ramifications of the decision being made...I got a kick out of looking at the shocked expressions on everyone's face that were in the office, because honestly I was relieved that a lot of the nonsense I had been dealing with was finished; and I had a big smile on my face knowing that burden was no more...15 years later I have a new career; a Bachelor's Degree; a Master's Degree; my own radio station, Eugeradio, which is recognized as one the top R&B oriented internet radio stations in the country;an expanded network of colleagues. Also, I've travelled extensively and have been a part of two Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremonies!! I'm unsure if my dear friend Janie Bradford remembers a conversation we had during my time of transition in which she said "you'll bounce back in no time. I've never known you to stand still for anything. So enjoy your break, it's not going to last that long". She was definitely right!! Janie was just one of many family members; friends and colleagues that have kept it 100 with me for all of this time; and I appreciate all of you for your continued support!!!
