Tell a better, more positive story about Flint and Genesee County MI. Focus on all the good things happening in Flint and Genesee County, not just the challenges. Use community voices.
Make Flint and Geneseee County stories accessible through smart devices and apps. Reach people where they are already consuming content.
Highlight the positives and negatives: local arts, music, faith communities, education institutions that are assets in Flint. Tell their stories.
Capture and preserve Flint's oral history from long-time residents before it's lost.
Provide a platform for community members to create their own content and channels. Empower community voices.
Flint as a model city - focused on community, nature, revitalization. A destination for innovation and progress.
Inclusiveness and diversity as strengths. Content for all ages.
Collaboration and partnerships as key to growth.
Accessibility and internet connectivity as foundations.
Focus on youth: imaginatiion, empowerment and ideas.
Portability and mobility of the content studio. Taking Flint's stories on the road.
