Happy Birthday to Tony Iommi! 🎸🎉

As the co-founder and guitarist of Black Sabbath, Iommi's innovative playing style revolutionized rock music and birthed heavy metal as we know it today.

At 17, Iommi lost the tips of his middle and ring fingers in a factory accident. Instead of giving up, he crafted plastic tips for the ends of his injured fingers and detuned his guitar strings to make them easier to play with less pressure.

Literally cutting off the tips of his fingers led to the creation of Black Sabbath's signature heavy, doom-laden sound that captivated millions of fans worldwide.

Here's to Tony Iommi, the man who turned misfortune into metal magic! 🤘
