Thank you 2024! It truly was a great year for me. I get emotional thinking back on last year. We went from the extreme low of the pandemic 5 years ago to what I feel was my most satisfying year yet. All my beautiful couples who got married, the birthdays, Mitzvahs, first responders, those nurses and oh, how about those Renegades?! All those memories! I can only hope 2025 is at least as good as 2024 was. Thank you all for the support! I have the best friends on the planet! Let's all have a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I took on a new role with the Hudson Valley Renegades this season! I just finished our first 12-game homestand as their mascot! It was awesome! I got interviewed after game #12 last night. Here’s a clip!
This year was incredible for me! Weddings are back! And if any DJs are reading this, I apologize. But I have THE. BEST. COUPLES. This year marked so many firsts and one completely unexpected surprise! We said hello at least a dozen new venues.
The Nurse Week celebration was a little different this year, but I got to see all my favorite nurses from Vassar Brother Medical Center in a marathon 13 hour day on their turf! Nurses rock!
In my 2nd year with the Renegades (thanks Zolz!), they pulled me out from behind the scenes and trusted me to do 3 things I never thought I’d do. I did PA for a homestand, I was the on-field host for a playoff game (PLAYOFFS?!) and the most rewarding thing of all… I got to be inside a certain mascot not just once, but more than a dozen times! Did you see me at the Wappingers St. Patrick’s Day parade? I was there acting Rascally! I also got to work with the most incredible interns on the Fun Team (I love you guys! Go change the world!) My good friend Zolz also trusted me to fill in for him, working Mount St. Mary’s and Marist College basketball games!
I reconnected with an old long-time friend, DJ Matt and together we’ve been having a blast doing Karaoke at Nu Cavu Restaurant. Never thought I’d be working the nightlife scene again, but I love this place hanging with all the “irregulars”!
I got recognized with 4 “awards” this year. That’s never happened. But one was the biggest shocker of all. I got voted “Best Wedding DJ” by Hudson Valley Magazine! I just thought with all the incredible talent we have out there and all the much bigger companies than mine, this was just not possible. I was blown away by just being nominated and making it to the top 5. I thought THAT was the biggest shocker of all and was thrilled about that. Then I got the letter from them in June. I've gotten to witness many wedding ceremonies over the years and all the officiants do a great job. But Rev. Jim Rooney does something so unique and special. Check out Michela & Jake's ceremony. He asks all the guests to "mingle". Near the beginning of the ceremony, he asks all the guests to stand up, cross the aisle, just spend 3 minutes moving around and introducing themselves to someone they don't know. It's kind of his trademark. I don't see anyone else doing this and Jim does it so well! I love this!

After almost 2 years of gatherings of less than 50 people and watching venues and vendors go out of business, it was so great to get back into it!
