The book contains production notes from the movie by Jim Henson, and character and concept illustration by Brian Froud. The publication is the English 1997 edition by the German author Michael Ende, measuring 8.7 x 6.1 x 1.2″ in size, and featuring green and red text and the full illuminations and illustrations. The front is bound with a metal auryn and adorned with metal filigree, and foil stamped with the title of the book on the front.
