When you’re in a business environment thats centered around people you’d better be steadfast in your beliefs and be willing to stand up for what you truly believe in.

Thanks for the great response to my first article on the NPFL website. Ken Duke is doing a great job writing, collecting and disseminating some very cool articles in the segment called “The Daily Dose”. For the bass-head that loves the stats and nitty gritty of the industry or a casual fan who loves a feel good story The Daily dose on the NPFL website has something for everyone! Here’s a great one from a man and family I greatly admire. I’m looking forward to his writing contributions.

Late Season!!!

Another whistle pig bites the dust. Haven’t seen this many around our farm in years.

Never Happen before. Sometimes they just won’t leave!! Took my good buddy Dustin Gibbs Outdoors out for some redemption. Called three in with two taking the ride. Sometimes they are impossible to get and other times they literally won’t leave... misfire round, primer struck but didn’t detonate. I tried to be quiet on the re-chamber and the breech didn’t fully close. One slap on the breech assist and Dustin was back in business. Great shot and a fun time with a good friend.

Took a long time friend Dustin Gibbs Outdoors coyote hunting last night. We hunted hard but didn’t get to pull the trigger. I dropped him of and stopped to make a couple quick calls on the way back to the house. Sorry Dustin!!

Almost let this big male get in to close.…but I didnt. One more for the pile!!!

Video of my first solo double. Not much pre-roll on number two. He was waiting around!! Feels good to get a few on the ground!

Always a good feeling to see this guy show up. Our work is done here… logs are headed to the mill!

Slicked up th chain. Always fun to see how well I did in sharpening my saw. Lots lots more to it than just getting a good edge on the tooth. Shape, depth gauge adjustments, consistency across all teeth are just a few factors n how well a chain cuts.

Cold has them looking for an easy meal! This one must have been starving. He’s going for a ride!

Well you can’t get’em all. Made a couple quick calls tonight and pulled these two I . Richard Stephens got the job done on his but I pulled the shot and mine got away. Still a ton of fun but missing makes me 😡.
