Yesterday we celebrated the retirement of Chief Hoffman (left). He has served District 7 for 38 years. His service to our community wasn't just as a firefighter. He coached youth sports, led the turkey drive, cooked and served at many community events and SO MUCH more. We will miss him greatly but we wish him all the best in his retirement.

Pictures with him: retired Fire Chief Gary Russell (center) and interim Fire Chief Ben Boyko.

On June 19th, we commemorate Juneteenth, a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States. It's a time to honor freedom, reflect on our history, and celebrate the diverse cultures that make up our community.

Whether you spend the day learning, reflecting, or celebrating, let's come together in a spirit of unity and appreciation for the progress we've made.
