Est. 12.31.1997 I hope not. You too will be let down. I sure don't. It's like that.

Expecting 'normal' radio like your local FM/Satellite corporate station? I also hope you don't expect a ton of shows involving a lot of talk and people playing what they want. Something much different than the norm was built here. First off talk isn't what you listen to music radio for is it? So, we keep our 'talk' shows for the weekends and instead let the listeners take the controls. Yep... reme

mber the old days when you could call the local station and maybe if you bugged them enough, they might just spin that song for you? Except you can pick several songs at once. If you could walk into a radio station and pick anything from 39,000 tracks.. what would YOU pick? Well now is your chance. And every single time you do it that request tweaks the station playlist just a little.. forever. We do have a few totally kickass shows that air Saturday AM, Sunday (good part of the day) and Monday night. The rest is all up to you. The station is available worldwide at https://megarockradio.net and you can listen for FREE on virtually any device via this link: https://www.megarockradio.net/player. Normal radio? Nah.

ST. LOUIS – After reviewing the latest forecast from the National Weather Service, the Missouri Department of Transportation is urging drivers to continue to stay off the roadways and avoid traveling on Monday.

Drifting snow and ice accumulations will make it “impossible” to travel, according to the NWS.

Snowfall is expected to continue into Monday, so even as MoDOT plows clear roads and highways, wind gusts will limit visibility and blow snow back onto roadways.

With ice accumulation and cloud cover, it will take longer to treat and clear the roads.

At this point normal Sunday evening shows should continue as normal.

NWS Update 9 am Sunday
While the overall forecast remains on track this morning,
precipitation types have been a bit all over the place
particularly right through the middle of the forecast area in the
advertised transition zone. Snow, sleet, and freezing rain have
all been observed, sometimes all at once. Radar imagery shows a
showery nature to the precipitation across the southern half of
Missouri, with this consolidating into a more solid band of
precipitation further north. Where this band is more solid we`re
seeing primarily snow falling, including the St Louis metro.
Snowfall rates may exceed one inch per hour as this band
solidifies this morning. Further south where the precipitation is
more showery we`re seeing a greater variety of precipitation
types. As a shower passes by precipitation may switch to sleet or
snow as moisture depth increases, but in between periods of
freezing drizzle are more likely. Although at the moment the sleet
to snow transition is a little further south than expected, we
still expect this zone to shift north through the day as warm
advection continues. We do expect a well developed dry slot to
move through the region this afternoon, cutting off the steadier
precipitation across the southern half of the area, but perhaps
leading to a few hours of freezing drizzle before the wrap around
snow moves in. We also did add thunder to the forecast as there
have been notable convective elements and occasional lightning.
This will likely increase just ahead of the arrival of the dry
slot when we may even see a more developed convective line.

Overall precipitation totals have not changed much with this
update, but due to a longer period of snow this morning in the St
Louis metro, amounts there have increased a bit as more precip
falls as fluffy snow rather than more moisture dense sleet.

Worth the read since as you can see it depends on where you are in the area what you are going to get.. and there is still room for connection as it's still 8 hours out. Figure purple and pink areas might want to prepare for power loss.

Still not a solid forecast as things will continue to develop through the day and expecting more solid numbers late this evenings I can only warn that things are trending in the wrong direction. A reminder that 1 inch of rain can translate into 13 inches of snow and some areas may now get over two inches and others that could see .75 to 1 inch of solid ice resulting in power outages. Prepare now.

Still three days out and much can change but we are almost 100% guaranteed something hits but the dividing line between snow and ice could change significantly. First pic is expected snow, second is the ice storm.

Folks, last night was a blast. We came so close to breaking our all time listener record, at the peak had 25 other stations in the UK and US joining us through parts of the evening along with the shortwave broadcasts and stream relayers. By 9 PM we had already received close to 1,000 requests and in the end listeners picked EVERYTHING including the song that led us into the new year..FROM 1982!! Last night was EPIC and we have YOU to thank for it.
