KENT POLICE INVESTIGATING HOMICIDE AT CLOUD 9 BAR

KENT, WA-On December 8, 2024, at 12:41 a.m. Kent Police Officers were dispatched to the Cloud 9 Bar at 806 Central Ave S in response to numerous 911 calls of a shooting at that location. Witnesses reported that a shooting occurred outside the bar in the parking lot, and a victim had been shot in the head.

Officers and Medics arrived within minutes, located the victim, a 22-year-old Kent man, and immediately began to assess his injuries. Tragically his injuries were severe, and he was pronounced deceased by Medics shortly after their arrival. Witnesses stated they were in the bar, heard the shooting and exited to the parking lot. They located the victim on the ground and called 911.

Kent Police Detectives responded to the scene to take over the investigation. They are gathering statements and evidence to identify the suspect and determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting. Based off the initial information received, the shooting does not appear to be a random incident.

If you witnessed this homicide or have any information about the suspect, call the Kent Police Tip Line at 253-856-5808 OR leave a tip at [email protected]. If you have information that is time sensitive, call the non-emergency dispatch line 253-852-2121.

Today is .

Please make sure to fulfil your civic duty in participating in today's election.

No, this does not mean those who are inclined to shove their opinions on others should start comment wars.

Seriously, shut up about who you are voting for and just do the civic duty ๐Ÿ˜there will be time to be keyboard warriors and attack those with differences of opinions later.
