It’s Never Been A Goal; This Is Just What I Do
Many years ago, a young man from Northwest Arkansas began playing the drums at 16. That young man is no longer young; Rance Tyrone Vinson, at your service. My first “studio” experience came after playing only 6 months, and I knew I was a lifer. By the time I turned 18, I had two SP4 PA speakers, Alesis effects, a CS 800 head, a Samik 24 track mixing board, Akai real-to-real, and a Technics dual cassette recorder. A handful of those songs still survive today. Now, decades later, my career exists in many homes in the form of CDs, contained within hard drives, or held on the “clouds” and light waves carrying the multitudes of digital data. It is safe to say that my art will outlive me. Happily.
While I am still around though, my life remains dedicated all forms of art and the artists who produce it. Rdogg Productions will work alongside many other great organizations such as Capture Crew, LLC, the non-profit Northwest Arkansas Musicians Connection, many local venues, and of course you, the amazing, talented, often unrecognized, and striving artists in the Northwest Arkansas area and beyond. Whether it is digital graphic arts, which I started over 24 years ago with the original Photoshop, being a quad-copter spotter for a dear friend and former band mate, or recording a podcast, I remain devoted tp arts of every kind. This page marks a new chapter.
I welcome all of you to the vision that can’t be considered a goal. This is a creative and composition studio. I want the artists that will create here to know that collaboration comes with the studio. RDogg Productions isn’t my job and to call it a business only speaks to how much I will work to see that art of every type spills into this universe.
