🚨 Scam Alert ❗️

▪️Recognize Common Trends: Scam emails can include content that solicits a sense of urgency from the reader or promises a monetary reward or debt forgiveness.

▪️ Look Closely at the Sender or Recipients: Scam emails commonly appear to be sent by a reputable company; however, the email addresses of the sender or recipients may contain a long string of numbers or letters that do not make sense.

▪️ Double Check Hyperlinks: Many scam emails include hyperlinks to redirect you to a website. You can hover your cursor over the hyperlink to identify what website the hyperlink redirects you to. Also, make sure that the hyperlink does not include misspelled words.

▪️Don't Rush to Share Information: Scam emails often look legitimate but ask the recipient for unusual requests such as personal information, account numbers, or gift cards.

▪️ Look for Errors: Scam emails can include poor grammar, misspelled words, or odd phrases.

▪️Use Caution with Attachments: Some scam emails include attachments that, if opened, can download malware onto your device. Look for the other signs of caution mentioned before opening an email attachment.
