Today is the first time we’ve had all three of Nick’s records on vinyl + in real life + in my hands at the same time 🤯
“Okay, Crawdad.” and “Home on the Rage” vinyl pre-orders will all be shipped out by the end of the weekend. We’ve got plenty of color and black vinyl still available on our website and Bandcamp (linkinbio). @neckshoulders is also stocked for his remaining tour dates this year.
This little “milestone” really wouldn’t be that big of a deal a few years ago, back when it only took a few months to make a run of vinyl. Now, the number one deciding factor of when and how we release music has become manufacturing turn-arounds. And that’s crazy. Admittedly, we picked a pretty challenging time to jump into this business 😅
Make sure you give credit where credit’s due to all the indie record label people out there. It was already pretty tough to run a small label in an ethical, artist-forward way before. Post-2020, it’s gotten a sh*tload tougher. The folks who are still battling it out are doing it for the same reason that brought them to this industry in the first place: a passion for independent music and the communities it creates. Nearly two years in, we are still having fun here at Gar Hole Records. We thank you sincerely for being a part of it 🖤

New Vinyl + Merch ASMR 8/9
Yesterday was kind of stressful, so I made this video to help chill me out 🛋
If you tried to interact with our website yesterday, I sincerely hope you didn’t have too stressful of a time either. The amount of traffic we received yesterday crashed our site, which was both terrifying and super flattering. We also discovered a couple other bugs that were causing problems. At the moment, we have everything working correctly and there are copies of all vinyl color variants still available.

We’ve also got some killer new merch up for pre-order for both Nick and the ‘Stines. All that will be printed up and shipped once we start sending out vinyl.

Nick Shoulders - “Lonely Like Me” vinyl will be available for purchase for the very first time this Monday, August 8th, at 12pm CST
There are two different color variants being offered this time around: Green Marble (1500 copies) and Yellow Smoke (500 copies). Both will be 180g vinyl in slick packaging featuring all original artwork by Nick.
At first, record sales will just be conducted thru the Gar Hole Records website, www.garholerecords.com. After several days of sales, we will make remaining copies available across all of our online market places: Bandcamp, Facebook, IG, ETC. Copies will also be available on tour after the vinyl order has been delivered to the label in Fayetteville.
At this point, we expect to receive records in late August / early September. If this is to change in any major way, we will do our best to let everybody know. Also, it seems likely that we will sell out in a short amount of time. If you don't grab a copy this time around, please know we will be ordering more records and throwing another pre-order up as soon as possible.

It’s been a year since we started the rollout for Chris Acker’s 2021 record “Odd, Ordinary & Otherwise.” This is the announcement video that
Chris and Sam made. I figured I’d share it again since not too many people saw it the first time and it’s adorable and well made (great job boys!).
I know we’ve said it a million times before, but here it is again: Chris Acker is the real deal, folks. A fantastic songwriter and lyricist and truly one of my favorite people. He was me and Nick’s obvious first pick for an artist to work with here at Gar Hole, and we are very stoked for a future full of more from this talented, strange man and his friends.
We having a repressing of “OOO” that’ll be going up for sale very soon, along with another fun surprise for the Chris Acker super fans like me. Stay tuned 🥪
