Meet our Dog of the Week, Calypso! 🐾 She is brought to you by our wonderful friends from Green Front Furniture and the Southside SPCA!

Calypso is both beautiful and kind, from her gorgeous flowing locks of dark brindle to the “hugs” and affection she pours into everyone she meets. At 18 months and 60lbs, she is perfect for an active and fun-loving adopter. Calypso would do best with children over 8 years. Due to her affectionate nature, she may overwhelm smaller children. Home ownership and fenced yard preferred. You won’t want to miss this gem!

Meet our Dog of the Week, Titus! 🐾 He is brought to you by our wonderful friends from Green Front Furniture and the Southside SPCA!

Titus is a precious chocolate and white terrier mix that was rescued from an animal control. He has a fun-loving and affectionate disposition. Titus doesn’t know a stranger and will make a great companion for some lucky adopter!
At approximately 1 year and 45lbs, he will likely be around 50lbs at full size. If you’re looking for a playful, social and loving companion who will keep you entertained with his goofy antics, then Titus is your guy! Adopters should have the time and resources to devote to raising and positive reinforcement training for a puppy.

Yesterday, we had Reina Little join us on Call Flo! Reina is part of the Working Artists Program at Longwood University. She just gratuated from VCU Arts, and does metal sculpting in the Working Artist Program!

She shared some great details about the Holiday Art Sale, happening this Thursday in Beford Hall at Longwood University! This year’s event will be even more exciting with not only student art, but also art from the working artists this year.

Thank you to the Farmville Jaycees for hosting such a wonderful parade! 🎄

The parade is no easy feat, but we get better every year. We could do nothing without our village. To every participant, we thank you. To our volunteer team: AMAZING!!! We have alumni and community members that come back every year and we are so grateful!

This morning on The Call Flo Radio Show, we heard from Geoff Angle and Justin Young of Piedmont Senior Resources about their Santa for Seniors campaign, part of the Subaru Share the Love Event. 🛻💖

From now until January 2, Subaru will donate $300 for every vehicle purchased or leased, supporting four major charities, including Meals on Wheels. PSR is using these funds to fill 500 holiday gift bags for local seniors with essential items like towels, washcloths, hygiene products, and food. 🌟

We are so excited that we have 2 dogs of the week this week! Meet Macado! He is brought to you by our wonderful friends from Green Front Furniture and the Southside SPCA!

Macado is as sweet as he is cute! This gentle beagle mix was rescued from a rural animal control and is so appreciative of his second chance. While he may be a little round around the middle, his pudgy cuteness is irresistible. He is a gentle fella and well mannered, wanting to please and never knowing a stranger. At approximately 8 years and 48lbs, he’s the perfect settled age for some lucky adopter.
If you’re looking for a companion for strolls around the neighborhood and snuggles on the sofa, look no further: Macado is your man!
