📅 When Will It Happen?
The total lunar eclipse occurs on March 14 at 1:09 AM EDT, but in some time zones, the partial phase will begin on the night of March 13.

🔹 02:26 AM EDT (06:26 GMT) – Total eclipse begins

📢PROJECT NEWS📢 | CO 151 Resurfacing and Culvert Improvements Begin 2/17/25 near Ignacio

The new asphalt will add approximately 10 years of life to the highway, provide a smoother road surface and increase durability by increasing the resistance of ruts and road damage.

🗺WHERE? Approximately 13 miles of CO 151 east of Ignacio from the La Plata/Archuleta county line to south of the “old coal mine.”

🚜WHAT? Work will include milling old asphalt, paving with new asphalt, shouldering, rumble strip installation, guardrail replacement and road sign replacement. Additional work will consist of six culvert improvements including repairing one culvert, cleaning out two culverts and replacing three culverts throughout the project limits.

⚠️TRAVEL IMPACTS: Motorists should plan for 15-minute delays and expect one-lane alternating traffic as well as speed reductions. Daytime work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Durango Airport is eagerly awaiting delivery of a new Aircraft Rescue Firefighting (ARFF) truck that has been on order since 2023. The truck, manufactured by Rosenbauer, is nearing final completion and is expected to be delivered this spring.
