𖧷𝐽𝑜𝑠𝑖𝑒𖧷
Beautiful Jos, Mama Girl, my sweet girl. Yesterday she turned 7 years old…7 years of sass, 7 years of her happy smile, 7 years of love, 7 years of a soul connection.

The second slide will forever be my most favorite picture, it perfectly captures our relationship and connection. It’s absolutely no exaggeration that she changed my life. She brought some of my very most favorite humans into my life and helped me build such an amazing community, she’s opened doors I never imagined I would go through and no matter what I ask of her, she delivers amazingly. She has beautifully shared parts of her soul with each of her babies and by extension to their families. There’s no question that she’s my soul dog.
7 years in “dog years” is 49…I’m also 49! My first Rottie Roxee was diagnosed with cancer when she was 7 and passed just before her 8th birthday. I’ve been dreading this birthday and coming year with Jos but I know she’s still so young and healthy with more adventures to lead me on! This year of 49 together, we are just in our prime and we have so much more to do in life together!

Happy birthday to Queen Jos, the icon and my sweet girl, I am forever grateful that I get to be her human.♡

Jos and I have been hanging out in baby heaven! My little grandson decided to come into the world a little early, I had planned to stay for four weeks, but he got me here early, so now I get six weeks instead! I’m halfway through my time here and it’s going much too fast, so I’ll keep soaking up every single snuggle I can get!

This little guy is my 3rd grandchild and first grandson. With my 3 daughters and 2 granddaughters, a boy has been a whole new experience and so fun! Being Mimi is pretty much the greatest thing and I’m so grateful to be able to have this precious time here.

As for the dogs, it has been absolutely amazing to watch how intuitive and adaptable they all have been! Jos, who is usually mama to all, has taken a step back and given space to Charlie and Remi to figure out how this new soul fits into their life. I’ve been amazed at how easily they have all fallen into their roles. Dogs are truly amazing. Babies are precious and delicious. Dogs and babies together are just magical!

Wyns, Wynnie, Wynner. Where has the time gone? How did my sweet baby girl get so old? This girl has brought her own individual journey to our lives, it’s not the journey we thought we’d have with her, she’s brought us on a rollercoaster of events and brought us so much happiness along the way! She hasn’t met a single human that she doesn’t love, she loves to be involved in e v e r y t h i n g, she has the best rbf and she’s the absolute best snuggle buddy! She has her challenges but she has all of our hearts!! 💕

Our last few days with all three girls together. This has been the perfect litter to end my breeding career on! I really questioned if I should do one last litter, but I went with my gut that it was the right thing to do and I was right! These babies have the most incredible lives lined up for them and no doubt each of the families needed this final edition of the Happy Rottweiler puppies!

I may be late posting this week, but that’s just indicative of how these babies are doing, they are ｂｕｓｙ!!! Every day they run faster and faster and why walk if you can bop or run there!), every day each personalities emerge more and more and everyday I love them more and more! I’m late with this weeks post, but better late than never, right?! These sweet girls went from baby t toddlers this week, running, jumping, sliding, wrestling, investigating all the things andddd escaping!! They are such a sweet fun crew, every day may “favorite” changes! We’re having so much fun with them, three is a definitely a very luck number!

Another week, a thousand more milestones! They went from babies to toddlers, eyes fully opened, toddling, pottying on their own, started playing and this morning we even had a tiny howl!! It’s hard not to just smooch them

Big things are happening this week with these girls! Eyes have started to open, toddling is beginning and curiosity is emerging! I say this about every stage, but THIS truly is my favorite stage of puppies, seeing those eyes for the first time is one of the most beautiful innocent things in this world, the newness of everything has an awe that is fleeting and just magical!

How has it already been one week? These strong girls have all doubled their birthweight, they eat and sleep like the champs, they’re getting stronger by the minute and living up to their superpower names! They are absolutely delicious and are just a pure slice of heaven!!

Today is day 63, she can go into labor anytime now with her last litter and my last litter as a breeder. Each phase of this is bittersweet knowing it’s my last, I have absolutely 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅 this journey with Jos. But for now, I can’t wait to meet this lady crew and just relish in every moment of this beautiful experience that I am lucky enough to be part of!

✽𝘩𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑦 𝑏𝑖𝑟𝑡𝘩𝑑𝑎𝑦✽
Beautiful Mama Jos turns 6 years old today. There really aren’t words to describe all that this girl means to me. She’s been by my side and helped me through some of my darkest times, she took my life in directions I never would’ve imagined and she helped bring together a family I never knew we had. She spreads love everywhere she goes and loves to make humans laugh and smile. She’s sassy and not so great with actual obedience because she prefers to do things on her terms. She makes the most beautiful babies who have some of her very best traits including her sass! The amazingness of Jos is deep and far reaching, it’s impossible to not love her. She knows my soul and I know hers, we get in arguments when we’re both tired (it’s quite a sight!) and my life is better because she is part of it. I love this girl more than I could ever possibly explain, there’s only one Jos and everyday I cherish that I get to be hers.
Happy 6th birthday to my beautiful, sweet Mama Josie Mae, here’s to many many more together!

We finally survived our own 6 week nightmare of hormones with back to back heats from baby and mama bear with papa bear being taken over by a primal beast!

With 3 intact dogs and not wanting a litter this go around, it’s been a dance of rotating behind closed doors, crate time, at least one (sometimes two) dogs leashed at all times (including at night!), calming meds and lots of patience!! I’ve never appreciated my normal hormoned dogs more!

My crazy, sweet boy is THREE YEARS OLD!!
From the moment I met him, he had my heart! I was looking between he and his brother and it was no question he was my boy! He has made me eat my words on so many of my “I will never”, he’s challenged me to learn new ways. We got him one week after Cooper passed away, the timing was crazy and perfect and nothing I ever would’ve predicted…just like everything about my boy! Everything he does is big, he’s exuberant, he’s loyal and protective, he’s the best snuggle bud, he loves with everything he has and he has more personality packed into his body than any dog I know! Every thing is big with him and everything is better with him around. He’s seriously the bestest boy anyone could ask for, with just enough punk in him to keep us on our toes. He doesn’t trust immediately, you’ve gotta prove you’re not sketchy to him, but once you’re in his circle, he FULLY steals your heart, of course in the biggest way!

I’m in cleanup mode getting puppy stuff put away and putting the humpty-dumpty of my house back together, so I’ll post some of my older gems until I can get back to taking current photos again. They’re almost 9 weeks, 3 of the 4 are thriving in their new homes, by the weekend, little Gal will be with her family who’s been very anxiously waiting to get her home! These 4 babies have been so much fun to raise, they all are so individual with huge personalities, it’s been so fun to see both Jos and Mavs come out in the funnest ways! I can not wait to watch these babies continue to grow (much too fast!) and change the lives of their families, one little shark bite and melt your heart moment at a time!!

One more week with this spunky, sweet, little crew! It’s always so bittersweet, mostly sweet because their families are so so excited to finally get them home, bitter because 8 weeks is not nearly enough time for me! As tired as I am, as much p**p I clean up, as many little bites I get, as much cleaning and laundry I do, it’s all absolutely worth it. I cherish all of the time I get with them because I’m lucky enough to get to be the first person they know and love and these little darling souls love big!! They are about to head out into the world and change some lives, I can’t wait to see what’s all in store for them…but not yet, I get
ｏｎｅｍｏｒｅｗｅｅｋand I will absolutely cherish every single snuggle, every single little frantic kiss, every little darling antic and crazy moment with these babies while I get them!!

I can’t believe how fast time is flying by with this absolutely darling crew. They’ve grown up so much this week into full blown toddler adventurers, they’re feisty, they’re fearless and they’re just fun!

Halfway through my time with them and it makes me sad and happy all at the same time! We decided which puppy was going to which home this week and let me just say that these babies have such an awesome life to look forward to!! I can’t wait to watch them grow and what their lives will become, but for now, I’ll just cherish ｅｖｅｒｙ minute that I get with this fun crew!!

Today my heart is so incredibly grateful for our amazing first responders!! We had a terrible fire in our mountains last night, very close to being able to devastate many homes in our community, but our first responders worked all night and will continue for many more days to keep us safe. Many festivities were cancelled, so they could sleep a few hours only to turn around to go fight again. Meanwhile, families are at home praying for the safety of their spouses, parents, children or friends. If you see a first responder today, tell them thank you, they help keep our country the overall amazing place we live!

I originally was going to say something about the recent events that have divided so many, but instead I just want to say that we all can do better, listen more, find the good, be the good and find gratitude in the good intentions of others…especially those you don’t agree with!
