It’s rare that a movie comes along that offers literally everything one can ask for. Amazing action, monsters, dark fantasy worlds, and a beautiful love story with a pair of undeniable stars in Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller. My only regret watching was that it wasn’t on a big screen, denying me the privilege of seeing it in a theater where it belongs.

Some are dismissing as meaningless but I disagree. Not only is it an intense, propulsive political thriller, it introduces a number of things that will be important to the MCU for the long haul, while giving Anthony Mackie the chance to fully settle into the role. I think after years of so many Multiverse movies (that most people hate, btw) it feels weird to have one that is smaller, more personal in scope. Also, be prepared for a lot of Hulk stuff. Go rewatch the 2008 movie first.
