WEFR AM 1700 WEFR AM 1700 is a Low Power AM Radio Station and Pacifica Network Affiliate serving Fairmont's West Side community.

MISSION

Our mission is to unify and enrich the community with information, cultural expression, entertainment, and involvement from the community. Believing that democracy cannot function if only a few have access to the media, AM 1700 WEFR intends to be a community forum for the music, voices, and viewpoints generally ignored or misrepresented by the corporate media.
