This weekend, you can donate to the Maine Children's Home's Christmas/Winter Essentials Program at Kringleville from 1-4pm on Saturday and Sunday!
This one-of-a-kind program in Maine supports over 1,400 children and teens whose families face financial hardship. Each child receives a personalized care package filled with:
- Brand new clothes
- Winter hats, mittens, gloves, boots, and jackets
- Hygiene items
- Toys, books, and games
Families are also connected with valuable resources to support them through the winter months.
Every care package is carefully tailored to the child’s needs, interests, and sizes - spreading warmth, joy, and care during the holiday season.
The program serves families with incomes at or below 133% of the federal poverty level, ensuring Maine’s children and youth aged 17 and under feel supported during this special time of year.
