First United Presbyterian Church presents is latest forum: Employment in our Community

Fairbury, NE – First United Presbyterian Church will present their latest Community Forum which will take the form of a Job Fair featuring dozens of local employers. The event will take place at First United Presbyterian, in their Fellowship Hall on June 20, 2024, at 1pm, and will include representatives from many employers in our area who will be on site to interact with job seekers.

Preceding the Job Fair will be a Resume Workshop, presented by the Nebraska Department of Labor. At the Workshop, local citizens will learn skills to build or sharpen their resume which they can then take to the job fair and present to potential employers. Register for the 10am Resume Workshop at https://www.fairburypresbyterian.com/announcements. No advance registration is required for the Job Fair at 1pm.

First United Presbyterian is proud to bring their Community Forum Series to our town. The goal of these FREE forums is to connect those in our community with available resources. This month, we feature the Nebraska Department of Labor and many local employers. We pray by doing so, we will help our neighbors connect with and better understand the many exciting employment opportunities in our town.

For more information call or text Dave Conde, Ministry Coordinator at First United Presbyterian. He can be reached at 402.318.2988.
