“We hope the event piqued their interest in certain aspects of Medieval history. Hopefully they learned something new today and saw that studying history can be fun," said Boyertown Library staff.

A living history group provided displays and demonstrations of fighting, fencing and dancing to show what life was like during the Middle Ages.

“We’re excited to bring this unique, one-of-a-kind festival to Fleetwood and celebrate the art of fiddling,” Patty Keeney, president of Friends of Fleetwood Parks. "The day promises to be a terrific experience for the families and residents of Fleetwood and all of Berks County.”
