I'm sorry, what is time!?

Today marks Darrel's 6 year gotcha day! We adopted him from a rescue in Eastern Washington where his liter had been abandoned. One of my coworkers at the time let us know there were puppies looking for homes and the moment we saw his face and heard his name was Darrel... we knew it w as meant to be. It's hard to believe he was once this smol 😭

Before you tell me Darrel is going white in the face, please note he had way more white on his face as a puppy, so actually he may be aging backwards 🤣

Corn (maze) dogs! And a VERY rare selfie of me and D 😆

We visited and had fun getting horribly lost in the corn maze. They recommended using their GPS map and we sure could have used it 😂

I did NOT fall on my face in the mud, but we DID find an amazing rainbow in the middle of the corn maze!

If you are in the greater Seattle area, and looking for something dog friendly to do this Fall, make sure to visit ! In addition to the corn maze, they have a sunflower walk, pumpkin patch, and fun family and dog friendly activities!

Idk ask them 🤣😂 I've had a lot of ppl ask me if they actually Ike playing hockey or if it is just a trick. Yes, I taught Darrel how to hold the stick and the concept of the trick, from there, it quickly went from a trick to a fun game for both of us. After adopting Gertrude, hockey became playtime and a way to incorporate training into a really fun activity for all of us. This started out as a joke but he got every one right last night. Not sure how useful of a trick this is, but it's pretty incredible 🥳 (Everything I let him smell is dog friendly, and nothing he is smelling could make him sick if he licks it) I'm going to be honest I don't know if he is just incredibly good at guessing or if he is starting to identify as one direction with a smell and the other with the absence of a smell.
