Let me introduce myself and this event!
My name is Haley Brown and I am a local photographer here in Evansville, IN. I have professionally been doing hair for 11 years this year and photography for 3! I am constantly looking for ways to help the community and grow as a person/business woman.
I am planning a back to school event yearly where we give out a professional school photo to any child in need. However, it occurred to me that not every child has the opportunity to be school picture ready… so I want to include one free haircut and simple style such as a braid or flat iron (something that can be done in under 10 minutes).
Kids deserve this opportunity and parents shouldn’t have to worry if they can afford a yearly photo of their child. We will have stations and different color backdrops for the photos and on site printing + digital release for future prints as well as the hair cutting on site prior to the photo!
I am looking for photographers and stylists who are comfortable doing any and all types of hair and donating their time and talent. I am planning to collaborate with anyone! This will be a Sunday in July with a date to be announced! Stay tuned friends ✨
