The Performance Racing Industry show is over time to get home and do some work on the hot rod.

Learned a lot from some companies that we had interest in trying their parts out on the car hoping we can make that work in the future.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! 🦃 Going to use this long weekend to get the trans back in and fired up for some testing to see what this new converter will do!

Trans is picked up huge thanks to High Performance Transmission Specialties for knocking it out in 3 days. Broke the sprag and burnt some clutches. It had been in the car for 4 years of abuse though so it was time. Huge thanks to Performance Torque Converters for having me a brand new converter in a week figured we’d upgrade that too since it was out.

Trans is dropped off at High Performance Transmission Specialties getting some love. Be done next week and should have the new Performance Torque Converters converter in the mail this week to to get the car back up and going. Still have time this year to achieve a goal that we set. Let’s see if we can make it happen.

Not the last pass we wanted added .5 of pound of boost on the leave and track didn’t like it I guess. Don’t want to say it was fault of the prep tho the guy beside me left wheels up 😂 back to the drawing board we go. Might be a track rental in our future.

Slowed down to the 60ft which slowed the et down adding some more boost since trans seems to be okay now next pass should be what we are looking for!

First pass didn’t go as planned 60ft low 1.3 but didn’t like the shift into second thought it broke the trans but seems to be fine now.

Ready to get back behind the wheel and see how far into the 8s we can go. It’s not easy getting this 4000lb car to 60ft th way we have but hoping for a 1.2 something on this factory irs.

The testing we did and the help from a couple friends we’ve got the 60ft where we want and need it to be. Crazy we are still in the low to mid teens in boost just trying to dial it in. It would be easy to just pour it out the back with assload of boost but just not how I want to do it.
