After August 5th at 7ML MIMOSA FEST - Evansville The Grind Stone will be going on hiatus for an indeterminate amount of time. After much discussion with my partner in this project Snow Mathews we have decided that is the best course of action. Unfortunately due to numerous obstacles the much delayed issue 3 of The Grind Stone: Fight or Flight is officially cancelled. I know this leaves some people hanging. I apologize this is not what we wanted to happen however any attempt at this point to put out the journal is going to reduce quality to the point that neither of us feel it does a service to the artists and authors who have contributed. We will both continue on in the future working on projects together and separately. Snow Mathews has several books slated to come out for the remainder of this year. I will be working to put out other poets work in the coming month through the Pure Sleeze Press. imprint. Again I want to apologize to anyone who was looking forward to this release and send my gratitude to anyone who supported the press in the past.
