❄️🏆 Erie, PA Remains in the Lead of the Golden Snow Globe Contest

Winter warriors, it’s official! Erie, Pennsylvania, is currently sitting at the top of the Golden Snow Globe standings with 109.2 inches of snowfall for the 2024-2025 season. But the race is far from over—Syracuse, NY, is right behind at 103.1 inches and closing in fast!

Last season at this time, Erie had only 22.3 inches, proving just how intense this winter has been. But with a history of epic lake-effect snow, anything can still happen. Will Erie keep its crown, or will perhaps Syracuse surge ahead before the season ends?

One day, the first grade teacher was reading the story of Chicken Little to her class. She came to the part of the story where Chicken Little tried to warn the farmer. She read, ".... and so Chicken Little went up to the farmer and said, "The sky is falling! The sky is falling!"

The teacher paused and then asked the class, "And what do you think that farmer said?" One little girl raised her hand and said, "I think he said: 'Holy $ #%@! A talking chicken!'"
