As we continue to work through this, we wanted to provide updates to you. This Saturdays football game will be done by our personnel, and will be our normal stream. We understand the concern with the quality of the NFHS streams compared to our stream. Rest assured it will be our great quality stream just going through their streaming service. 📣 IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING ROCK RIVER COMMUNITY RADIO SPORTS COVERAGE

We want to share an important update with all of our loyal listeners and viewers.

Some schools utilize the NFHS video system, which holds exclusive streaming rights for live broadcasts. We made every effort to work with NFHS to allow us to continue our live feed as usual, but were informed that the only way to broadcast live from their schools was by signing on as an NFHS affiliate and using their streaming service.

After several discussions amongst our team, we have decided to sign on as an NFHS affiliate.

What this means is that we will be able to live stream Saturday’s Football Playoff Game in Aurora — however, the stream will be hosted on the NFHS website and will require a small viewing fee, which we understand to be $13.99 for a monthly subscription.

If the Lady Panthers Volleyball team wins Regionals, we will be in the same situation for Sectionals, meaning fans could watch those games under that same subscription.

Once we have the official link from NFHS, we will post it right here so everyone can easily access it. We highly encourage anyone planning to watch the live stream to set up your NFHS account now, so you’re ready to go come Saturday afternoon.

We will also be recording the stream and posting it 24 hours after the game, per NFHS requirements, on our Rock River Community Radio YouTube page, giving fans a free viewing option as well.

In addition, we will be providing audio-only coverage on our website at rockrivercommunityradio.com and through our Rock River Community Radio app, available in your smartphone’s App Store.

We want to emphasize—this situation is no fault of the host schools, who have been completely supportive and willing to let us stream.

It's Game Day!!! The E/P Panthers will play in the IHSA Regional Championship Game tonight against the Riverdale Rams. The game will be played at Rock Falls High School at 6:00pm. The Doors will open at 5:00pm. Good Luck Ladies!! GO PANTHERS!!!
