***Service Anniversary***
Today, we proudly recognize Chief Brian Hawk for nine years of dedicated service to the Erie Police Department. His leadership, commitment, and devotion to protecting and serving our community have made a meaningful and lasting impact.
Throughout his tenure, Chief Hawk has proudly served the Village of Erie with tireless dedication. Despite the demands of administrative responsibilities, he continues to lead the department forward and position it for continued success.
Highlights of his service include:
β’ Elevating National Night Out (NNO) into a highly successful community event, drawing record attendance and increasing awareness throughout the Village of Erie
β’ Overseeing the transition to a new fleet of Chevy Tahoes, modernizing department operations
β’ Implementing a Drone/UAS Program to enhance public safety efforts
β’ Recently receiving the Lifesaving Award from the Erie Fire Protection District, among many other accomplishments
In addition to these achievements, Chief Hawk has remained steadfast in ensuring the department stays current with evolving law enforcement standards, policies, and best practices. He has prioritized ongoing employee training and professional development, which is essential to effective policing.
