Dear Filmmakers and Supporters,
First and foremost, we at FLY Film Festival would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to each one of you. Over the past decade, your contributions and participation have made our festival a truly remarkable celebration of films.
We understand that many of you have been eagerly awaiting updates and have been concerned about the lack of communication. For this, I personally apologize. Life can be unpredictable, and we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of the FLY Film Festival. This decision was not made lightly, and we are deeply saddened to bring this chapter to an end. However, we are committed to ensuring that every filmmaker who submitted to our festival receives a full refund of their submission fee. Additionally, I am happy to provide a recommendation letter to any filmmaker who requests one.
The past few years have been filled with joy and excitement as we celebrated your incredible work. Honoring the creativity and dedication of filmmakers like you has been a privilege that we have cherished. However, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.
We kindly ask for your patience over the next month as we complete the necessary procedures to close the festival and issue refunds to all participants.
Please do not let this diminish your enthusiasm for creating fantastic films. We wish you all the very best in your future endeavors and look forward to seeing more of your outstanding work.
