SHOPPING LOCAL BUZZ: When Patrick Wine was planning to propose to his fiancé, there was only one place he would go for her engagement and wedding ring. MEAD Jewelers by Old Navy in Enid. The problem was, he had moved 2,000 miles to Maine almost three years prior. Nevertheless, while visiting family last Christmas, Patrick met with Jay and Tiahni Mead to begin the custom design process for her wedding set.

After sending over a rough sketch of the design, MEAD got to work on crafting the digital rendering. They worked together to perfect the design based on Patrick’s description. Jay, knowing the budget, found the perfect marquis within that price range.

The final ring was breathtaking! Patrick picked it up, returned to Maine, and in May, he proposed to his fiancé at a nature preserve (the place they met) filled with muskrats, frogs, ferns, and an abundance of other wildlife. It was one of the best days of his life. To top it off, she LOVED the ring!
