The new Sept-October E Town is here! Check Jumbos and other locations to get your copy! Here's what's in this issue:

From the publisher
I think everyone is hoping for some cooler fall weather as September and October come into view for 2022!

We never know how cool or how warm it will be in northwest Oklahoma in the fall, but we do know that with the fall season comes a plethora of activities.

One of the activities many look forward to is the Sooner State Kennel Club annual dog show held in Enid in October. Feature writer Ruth Ann Replogle talks with organizers of the show and enthusiasts, and we get to meet some pretty cool dogs as well.

October is also the month for the Chisholm Trail Coalition’s Annual Tombstone Tales event held at Enid Cemetery, which is taking over organizing the event this year. Tombstone Tales is not about haunts, it’s about history. Participants will get to “meet” some of the notorious residents of Enid’s past. Check out the information in this edition of E Town.

Also in this issue, we also get to meet a fine furniture artist, Josepth Lamerton, whose furniture creations are also true works of art. Inspired by the likes of famous furniture maker Sam Maloof, Lamerton’s creations can be simple or complicated, but always beautiful.

Enjoy the cooler temps and getting outdoors for sports and other fun activities this fall!
