If She Can Do It, I Can, Too!
Did you know that a Black woman helped the blind to see?
Did you know the first woman Democrat who ran for president of the United States was Black?
How can you change the world?
History is full of examples of Black excellence. And because children are master mimics, If She Can Do It, I Can, Too highlights achievements of women in Black “herstory.” Using rhymes, reflection, and research, children can imitate these pioneers to create a better future! IfSheCanDoIt.me

Spent the morning reading #ThingsICanBe to a group of first graders at Edison Elementary. Thank you, #SisterToSister and Teacher Erica Wilson for the opportunity. Per Ms. Wilson, “You made an impression on them. They talked about it all afternoon. They asked me to have MeMe come back to visit us😀.”
The kids received bookmarks and snacks and I donated a copy to the school library. I’ll be at Richard Allen Academy Friday. If you want me to read to your littles one, inbox me.
BTW: “Zero” is the teaching tool Ms. Wilson uses to have the students sit quietly with zero noise. I added my own spin to it.
