FAST X: Part 2 | First Trailer | Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, J Statham

Universal hasn’t announced an official Fast X Part 2 cast list, but it seems inevitable for Diesel to return as the series’ lead, Dom Toretto. Anyone from Dom’s family who wasn't killed off in Fast X will be expected to return in Fast 11. Other main cast members, like Jason Statham as villain-turned-ally Deckard Shaw, Helen Mirren as Shaw’s mother Magdalene “Queenie” Ellmanson-Shaw, and Gal Gadot as Gisele, could also reprise their roles in Fast X Part 2.

Dwayne Johnson’s appearance as Luke Hobbs in Fast X’s post-credits scene will likely lead to a larger supporting role in Fast 11. The post-credit scene also teased the possible return of Eva Mendes as Monica Fuentes. Fast X newcomers like Jason Momoa as the villainous Dante Reyes, Brie Larson as rogue agent Tess, and Daniela Melchior as Brazilian street racer Isabel could reappear in Fast 11 as it follows on from Fast X’s ending.

Chris Hemsworth's Tyler Rake is now the center of a new franchise as Extraction 3 is confirmed to be on the way — and anticipation for cast, story, and release date news for the Extraction and Extraction 2 sequel is high. Based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Fernando León González, and Eric Skillman, the Extraction franchise focuses on black ops mercenary Tyler Rake (Hemsworth). In the first Extraction movie, released on Netflix in 2020, Rake is tasked with rescuing the kidnapped son of an Indian crime lord.

2023's Extraction 2, in which Rake is hired to break a Georgian gangster’s family out of prison, turned Extraction into a franchise. Given how successful it's been for Netflix, the news Extraction 3 is on the way wasn't surprising — although was incredibly well-received.

Extraction 3 also proves that Extraction has been both an audience success and Chris Hemsworth's most significant role since Thor. When Extraction became Netflix’s most-watched original movie ever they didn’t waste any time greenlighting a sequel, and Extraction 3 continued this trend (along with news of possible spinoffs).

The Extraction 3 cast will likely contain many news surprises just like its predecessor, along with some returning faces as Netflix further builds the Extraction property into a franchise. As far as many audience members are concerned, however, the key information is what the Extraction 3 story could have in store for Tyler Rake when the release date arrives.

THE CONJURING 4: LAST RITES – First Trailer (2025)

With over a decade under its belt, The Conjuring 4 will bring the mainline horror franchise to a close, and the release date has now been revealed for the fourquel. Though plot details remain unknown, the final installment in the franchise will see the returns of Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson and Lorraine and Ed Warren, the iconic paranormal investigators who have served as the primary thread for the majority of the interconnected universe. The Conjuring 4 will also see Michael Chaves, who helmed the previous movie and The Nun II, return to the director's chair on a script from fellow franchise vet David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick.
Variety has brought word that Warner Bros. has set The Conjuring 4 to hit theaters on September 5, 2025. The news also came as the studio also announced that Maggie Gyllenhaal's Frankenstein adaptation The Bride will be moving up by one week, now releasing at the end of September 2025 rather than the first week of October. At the time of writing, no production start date has been announced for the final Conjuring movie.

Four out of the eight episodes are directed by Tim Burton, who also serves as executive producer. It revolves around the titular character, who attempts to solve a monster mystery at her school.
Burton was previously associated with two Addams Family-related projects: the 1991 film, which he passed on, and a cancelled stop-motion animated film. In October 2020, he was reported to be helming a television series, which was later given a series order by Netflix. Filming took place in Romania between September 2021 and March 2022. Wednesday premiered on November 16, 2022, and was released on Netflix on November 23 to generally positive reviews from critics, who praised Ortega's performance but found some similarities to CW dramas. Within two weeks of release, it became the third-most watched English-language Netflix series.

At San Diego Comic-Con during the Marvel Studios panel, it was announced that Downey Jr. would be returning to the MCU not as Iron Man, but as Doctor Doom in Avengers 5, which is now known as Avengers: Doomsday.

Downey Jr. made an appearance at the end of the panel flanked by Doom Bots, saying he'd "see you in two years" with Doomsday. The film is slated for May of 2026.
