The Lemon Bay Woman's Club held their annual fashion show fundraiser today at the clunhouse. Our new reporter 'Erin' was able join the members and guest for this great event. We look forward to 2025 year for the club, celebrating their 'Clubhouse' reaching 100 years.

🚣‍♀️🚣Wednesday January 22nd 11am-1:30pm- Cedar Point Guided Eco Kayak tours with Biotica EcoTours are back!🚣‍♀️🚣

Exploring estuarine and mangrove habitats, visiting the bird rookeries which are only accessible by kayaks is an experience everyone visiting in our area should not miss!

The Estuary is where the rivers meet the sea. It is home to seagrass beds and mangroves, which provide a nursery to all underwater critters, such as oysters, fish, crabs, clams, snails, conchs, and a great food source for a variety of birds, manatees, dolphins and more.

In these Kayak Tours you will be able to observe all those first steps of marine life that leads into the ocean.

Donations can be dropped off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays (except for holidays) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please do not leave donations other than those hours due to the fact that the raccoons have been visiting and feasting on anything they are able to open. Besides making a mess it also means that some donations are then thrown in the garbage! Rain will also ruin donations if left out side other than the above mentioned hours.

Englewood Helping Hand is located on the campus of Englewood Methodist Church, 700 Dearborn St., Englewood. The pantry is located to the left of the church. Side closest to N. Oxford.

Congratulations to Aja Jones, Sterile Processing Department colleague who was named Colleague of the Month for her high ethical standard in all she does in her critical role. Aja Jones was honored because she is a true leader.

A co-worker said, "She is the best in her field and we are lucky to have her part of our team." Her peers shared that she always goes over and above, often coming to work at all hours, resolving equipment issues and has supported fast-growing volumes in Surgical Services.

Recently, her work during a recent survey was outstanding resulting in high marks for the department.

On this very rainy Tuesday, our drivers are delivering this delicious hot meal. Beef stroganoff, green beans and parm bread. It is accompanied by a green salad, pudding and a baked good. Yummy. The kitchen smelled so good.
