Maybe it’s because it’s been a year and a couple days since he died. We had that kind of friendship that might come once in a lifetime. We were telepathically connected, sharing one heart and mind. No word was needed to know what we were thinking. Now the sun is getting that sideways glint that comes this time every year and I find myself drawn back into the light of my record room.
