THE RATCHETS capped off 2024 with an incredible performance last night at The Stone Pony for The Bouncing Souls' Home For the Holidays Festival!

On the heels of the reissue of MESS "Under Attack," we are thrilled to give the band's EP "Intercity" a gorgeous reissue!
MESS has been making waves in the punk scene over the past few years and garnered a worldwide fanbase, most recently playing this past year's Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas.
"Intercity" started it all fo the Mexican Oi! band. This 5 track banger only clocks in for 11 minutes and 25 seconds so we decided to put the EP on both sides of the vinyl so you can take a gander at both sides of the artwork on this picture disc!
The record features the band's insect head logo on the A side and a live photo by RITON.

The band gives context about the song:
“Bullet Through The Heart,” the new single from Armada, recalls Brazil’s Military Dictatorship
“How can we explain a little over twenty years of military dictatorship to a gringo?” asks Armada’s lead singer, Henrike Baliú. “How can you explain two decades of oppression in a punk rock song that lasts less than three minutes?”
The song conveys the feelings that hung in the air during Brazil’s right-wing dictatorship using the vocalist’s childhood experience as a backdrop. “I shared a little of my story as a child in the late 1970s & early 80s, at the end of the dictatorship, in Rio de Janeiro, where I was born,” reveals Henrike. “From the bedroom window of my grandmother’s apartment, I would look at Christ the Redeemer, the famous monument that watches over the city. From there, I tried to summarize the horrors that Brazil went through. It’s also a lyric about the loss of faith, something very personal for me. That’s why I love composing for Armada; I can pour my soul and heart into the lyrics.”

Well, that's finally changed! Yes, the band's iconic self-titled album is *finally* on vinyl after years of being out of print. Plus, for the first time ever, this album is pressed on 12" vinyl on a limited edition "Sunspot" marble vinyl.
