Important information from Park Superintendent, Clay Creekmore:
Beginning tomorrow, November 11th, Callaway Park will be closed in preparation for "Christmas at Callaway". Park staff will be hard at work getting all of the Christmas decorations and lights put out throughout the park. The park will be filled with light displays and extension cords, so it's imperative that individuals do not enter the grassy and playground areas. Superintendent Creekmore also asks that from this point on, people do not park on the grass in any area of the park. Thank you for your patience and understanding as they park team gears up for the most wonderful time of the year!

It’s almost Halloween, and excitement is in the air! If you plan to welcome all the little ghosts and goblins for trick-or-treating, be sure to have your porch light on from 5:30pm-8:30pm tomorrow evening.

Please remember as you travel throughout the city tomorrow to slow down and watch out for all the little ones who will be out getting all their goodies!
